An Inclusive Work Culture That Fosters Employees’ Personal Growth

At the Mega Group, we recognise that every employee is a valuable contributor to growth. To demonstrate our appreciation, we respect honest feedback from all employees, implementing their suggestions if these are deemed to be beneficial. They are also given ample opportunities to attend sponsored training and development programmes to upgrade existing skills and learn new ones, which is positive for their future employability as well as business productivity

Keeping Traditional Crafts Alive

In an industry where superior craftsmanship is the key to success, the Mega Group (via Le Grand, our production arm) has prudently opted to employ only Malaysian master goldsmiths with decades of experience to craft our intricate designs. While this practice is undoubtedly essential to maintain quality and protect our reputation for excellence, it also serves another important purpose: in an era where traditional crafts are dying out, we not only celebrate the artistry of traditional goldsmiths, but also give them an opportunity to pass their skills down to younger workers, who will then rise up the ranks to become our next generation of master craftsmen.

Reducing Energy Usage

Persons with disabilities (PWDs) are frequently shunned by employers who regard them as less productive. However, the Mega Group takes a different approach: as we believe that PWDs are just as talented and just as deserving of fulfilling employment as able-bodied workers, we actively recruit motivated and hardworking PWDs, who will learn the art of crafting gold jewellery from our master goldsmiths before being assigned to suitable roles.

Notably, our actions have not caused any financial or productivity losses; on the contrary, many of our past and present master goldsmiths are PWDs who graduated from vocational training centres before joining us. We are proud of our role in supporting these individuals and are committed to doing more to help them: in particular, we look forward to creating dedicated education-to-employment pipelines in collaboration with vocational training centres that specialise in working with PWDs in the near future.

Actively Contributing to Traditional Philanthropy

Apart from offering PWDs practical support in the form of training and employment, the Mega Group regularly donates to charitable causes such as:
